HELP UNIVERSITY TOASTMASTERS CLUB is proud to present to you Speechcraft Workshop this September!

What is a speech craft?

Speech craft program is a 2 days intensive workshop, focusing on 3 core elements of a Toastmasters meeting to help others being a better communicator. 

The 3 cores are :

 1) impromptu speeches,

 2) assignment speeches, 

 3) speech evaluation.

In this speech craft, there are 5 young, experience and vibrant champion speakers guiding the participants throughout the program. There's an old saying that learn by having fun, learn by doing. In the speech craft, there will be practical training, crafting participants' very own speeches and deliver in a peer support and fun environment. Subsequently, the participants will receive constructive feedbacks from the 5 speakers and facilitators so that participants can further improve themselves. Also, participants are able to network around and meet more friends!

Date: 8/9/2012 & 9/9/2012

Time: 9 am to 5 pm

Venue: DSA, Level 5 Wisma HELP

Registration Fee: RM60 only (lunch is provided)

HUMOROUS SPEECH AND EVALUATION CONTEST 2012

18th August 2012

HELP University Toastmasters Club had an entertaining, fun and exciting humorous speech and evaluation contest on a great Saturday morning. This contest was successfully organized by Secretary Tan Xin Wen, as the organising chair together with VPM, Gerald Tan as Humorous Speech Contest Chair and Wan Zhi Han as Speech Evaluation Contest Chair.

A total of 7 young contestants bravely participated in the Humorous Speech Contest,
President Jack Ying, IPP Jason Moi, Eugene Lau, Kan Kok Weng, SAA Issac Ng, Treasurer Yip Mun Yee and VPE Bryan Cheong

4 enthusiastic members participated in the Speech Evaluation Contest, with our Test Speaker all the way from Mid Valley Toastmasters Club, Sheryl Chieng

HELP UNIVERSITY INSTALLATION DINNER 2012/2013

Fun-filled saturday night with fellow Toastmasters from many other clubs present at our installation dinner :) We served scrumptious western buffet consisting of a varieties of food.

It was held at our very own meeting venue, HELP DSA Damansara Heights with approximately 20 attendees.
